Need To Know

At Focus & Relax Therapeutic Massage, communication is critical to a successful massage experience. We encourage first-time clients to use their voices before, during, and after the massage to help set the tone and build a strong relationship between you and our team. Our therapists are trained to listen and respond to your needs, so don't hesitate to speak up. Your voice matters, and you have the right to be always heard. We want you to leave feeling relaxed, knowing you did not suffer in silence.

03

Consultation

During the initial consultation process, our wellness consultant will discuss your health and wellness goals and your massage therapy needs to align you with the perfect service provider. Your service provider will create a customized plan to help you succeed. At Focus & Relax Therapeutic Massage, we take pride in delivering an exceptional massage experience. Our highly trained massage therapists will collaborate with you to identify any areas of concern and personalize your massage to meet your needs. With our unwavering focus on relaxation and healing, you can rest assured that you'll leave feeling revitalized and renewed.

04

Before Massage Session

Our expert massage therapist and bodyworker will guide you through getting comfortable in one of our luxurious treatment rooms, ensuring you feel completely at ease and relaxed throughout your session. You will be instructed to lie on the massage table under the sheet and blanket and have the option to disrobe to your comfort level. Our therapist will provide further instructions to help you enjoy your massage experience fully. Trust us to provide an exceptional massage experience that meets your needs and exceeds your expectations.

05

During Massage Session

Indulge in a relaxing massage experience in a warm, comfortable, and quiet room with soft music playing. Our therapists prioritize your modesty and privacy, ensuring that you are appropriately draped throughout the session. You can communicate any allergies beforehand, and the therapist will use oil, lotion, or cream on the areas needing attention unless you request otherwise. Focus on unwinding and letting go of stress while the therapist works on your back, shoulders, arms, legs, feet, neck, and other areas needing attention.

06

After Massage Session

After your massage, the therapist will give you some privacy to dress up. It's important to take your time getting off the table and moving around to avoid dizziness. Drinking water can help flush out toxins released during the massage. Avoid strenuous exercise the rest of the day to allow your body to integrate the effects of the massage. Take note of any continued pain relief, improved range of motion, or other benefits you feel. If you'd like continued work on problem areas, schedule follow-up appointments. Don't forget to provide feedback to your therapist about pressure, techniques, and areas of focus for future sessions.

Massage therapy can reduce stress, relax muscles, improve circulation, and increase energy flow. Inform the therapist immediately if you feel discomfort so they can adjust the pressure.

Understand that massage is not medical care or a substitute for it. The therapist cannot diagnose or treat illness. Please get physician clearance if needed.

Inform your therapist of any health changes so they can adequately tailor the massage. There is no liability if you fail to disclose health information.

You or the therapist can decide to end the session anytime during the intake discussion or during the massage if needed.
